As an ID Specialist at FIU Online, I help professors build and maintain their online courses. While my day-to-day involves online course development, I have several passion projects that enhance team productivity and push the boundaries of online activity design.
Argos is a custom Excel Workbook that helps several teams track and maintain hundreds of courses each semester. What started as a simple data repository quickly grew into a suite of useful tools for every member of the ID team: Specialists, Supervisors, and Managers can complete everyday tasks faster with Argos.

I've given presentations at FIU's annual OnlineCon, the Florida Instructional Design Network, and FIU's staff-facing Instructional Design Expo. My presentations focus on interactive learning activities, simulation development, gamification, and tool adoption.

I make simulations for online students using Articulate Storyline 360. My biggest project is Escape the Lab, an escape room themed forensic chemistry simulation made in conjunction with Dr. Anamary Tarifa and the FIU Online content creation team.
